... and encounter the rain of manipulation decks (majority netdeck lists) that don't let you try new and/of fun ideas (for me one of the great purposes of the mode).

I accepted the Pro Rank regulations thinking that would be more consciousness, but I fill zero differences to be sincere. I can piss off and go to ranked with one of my consolidated decks, but some times I have just some fun and of course creating new ones. in addition I can't even imagine how frustrating this can be to newbies, high chances of leaving the game before even learning it.
Please people have some respect for the game modes...
