Sex scenes are fine if you want something more realistic the internet exists and so do real people.
Dry humping with clothes on? The ones from ME2 were just.... brrr. Cringe just like the sex scenes from Dragon Age games.
It wou;d be nice to be able to skip through or skip them like you should be able to with any other sort of cut scene. There are times when it's annoying

Yeah they totally should make the sex scenes more interactive.. like pick the next sex position with quick running countdown in the dialoge XD

I don't really mind them it's more immersive than a fade to black screen and not graphic enough to be on pornhub, I'd say that's balanced

For me it's more that I just don't think I'll ever find a digital character thrusting themselves into my monitor and think 'this is well done'.
I've never found they help immersion, more the rapid jumps between positions over a 20 - 30 second period THEN fade to black is more jarring for immersion.
...I mean I don't know what ya'll folk sex is like - but mine has a lot less jumping around....

Sex in video games is generally bad. They come off awkward, silly, and scene-breaking. Few can pull off that, but generally leading the player to this voyeuristic scenario feels goofy and strange.
Many things are subpar when comparing with those games.
They should just imply sex scenes, like starting with just some cuddling and kissing and then undressing and the camera pans away slowly as the nipples show. Do it classy. Do it right. Don't try to emulate real sex digitally, it's just cringe all the way round. But I genuinely can't be bothered by it, it's such an insignificant part of the game, imho.
