Can I roll back to an older version on Console?

The recent updates, I am not sure which. Really ruined my saves, all the expensive mods and upgrades I aquired have been nerfed. As much as I appreciate that they are trying to iron out bugs after the fact, this is a long game I have put hundreds of hours of my free time into it why am I now having to start from scratch in terms of equipment in a game I bought 2 years ago. I have never heard of this happening in a game that isn't an MMO. And in those they replace your items.

On consoles ?
Xbox/Playstation, impossible (as far as I know).
(maybe except with a disc version and if you let your console "offline" to avoid any update checking... but you'll probably play the release version... which it's not the best one^^)

I have never heard of this happening in a game that isn't an MMO.

Already experienced that in many games which are not MMO
