100% use of Intel Core CPU

You say 70-100% on just one cores or across all of them..?

And regarding the noise, this sounds like the fan on the CPU coolerm what the make and model? and how old is the paste..?
[/ZACYTOWAĆ]

the paste on the processor is original from Intel, it is 2 years old,
I don't know, maybe the paste needs to be replaced

The original intel cooler is terrible. Like really, really realy bad.
You should get a new cooler asap.
Get a basic tower for 20€ and your fine, youll never hear your cpu again, and it will propably have better performance because of lower temps.

I use this one:
this model maybe? if so, I order paste and replace the cooling with bquiet, because I have

Thanks a lot, it led me to specific solutions, I hope that if I change cool, the results will be a plus

90-100% CPU using on Intel Core i7 when running and playing cyberpunk 2077, help

specification:
16GB RAM
intel core i7 8700
graphic card msi geforce 1080 TI 11 GB RAM
SSD M 2 500 GB

Pawel
Was this happening on 1.04, or just on 1.05 version of the game?

My game performed excellent and had zero crashes (everything on ultra 1440p 80 FPS). After patch 1.05 my CPU usage went from around 50% to spiking up to 100% regularly without even being in combat.

My image quality has become terrible as well. Patch 1.05 has made the game unplayable for me.

(for reference)
specification:
32GB RAM
AMD 3600xt
graphic card RTX 3070
SSD M 2 1TB

It performs just as bad whether I have all my overclocks running or not.

For me today, the priority is to test the processor after replacing the cooling from Intel with bquiet, then I will see if it helps,

However, patch Hotfix 1.05, unchanged

Note that in the list of Hotfix 1.05 patches, there are no PC optimizations for CPU utilization, yet,

This patch focuses on PS4 and gameplay

the last hope is the January update for PC

a colleague from the gamedev industry, tells me that it is normal and that GTAV had the same, without a patch, it's hard to talk about the optimization of the game, well after the premiere,

and I take this fact into account and I am far from hating cyberpunk which is currently pouring out in the media on cd projekt red but I expect support in looking for a solution

They do have some PC specific updates in this patch. In particular a CPU specific (AMD) change. This is likely the thing that has been causing many of us to have issues with CPU usage jumping from low 30% to 100%.

Also, most of us have never even mentioned "hating" Cyberpunk... (I love the game and have logged a LOT of hours into it with zero crashes and minimal bugs)

Everything is correct, you have AMD and I have Intel, so if it did not help you much, it probably did not solve this problem enough now, because they will focus on consoles

I have a Full HD monitor, so I can't set it to 4K, why are you asking?
PHILIPS 243V7QDSB / 00
I have set to 1920 × 1080

Just curious since higher resolutions usually alleviate CPU usage as more is dumped on GPU. but seems like everyone is getting crap performance and poor utilization lol
