All savefiles gone

Hello,
I bought the game on steam a couple of years ago.
I played almost 100 hours.
Now I installed the game again (via steam) in order to play the DLC.
I logged into REDLauncher und connected my CDPR account to my steam account.

But all my saves are gone.

Why, Where and How?

You might contact directly Steam, because the game only manage the saves locally on your computer.
Except the cross-progression, but if you played a couple of years ago, I'm not sure it was already available at this time. And with cross-progression, only one (the last) manual save, one auto save are uploaded on CDPR servers.

Maybe it's Steam cloud issue? Saves are located at C:\Users\Your username\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077 . Try checking there but if you played 2 years ago and wanna play Phantom Liberty with your old character, I strongly suggest starting over and making a new character. A lot has changed and you can't play as how it used to be, and it'll be much easier to follow the plot.

I know it sucks to lose a save with 100 hours on it but CDPR even outright recommended starting over with patch 2.0 as the changes were so significant.

Playing with a save from two years ago would likely mean a lot of bugs.

I was able to play from a save file dating back to launch day, I had maybe one bug which wasn’t until the end with Johnny sitting atop of the roof, but it has since been fixed. Aren’t you able to migrate save files into the game?

does sound more like a steam issue for sure
