An updated version from the vantage of 2013

Cyberpunk 2020 is by far one of the best RPGs out there. The technology was envisioned from the 1990s towards the future. What I would like to see is a Cyberpunk 2077 Pen and Paper RPG with an updated background from the vantage of 2013 but using almost the same mechanics.

ok.... I would rather the new timeline start in 2020.... at least then we don;t immediately diverge from the timeline...

There's no way we could merge the game's timeline with our own. They're fundamentally different. Trying to combine them will do nothing but destroy the setting.

Cybrpunk has been too well-established as something separate from our world. It is an alternate reality. We'll have to accept that.
