Attribute Points?

Why can't we reset our attrubute points?

I don't understand why we get a new patch that resets all of our attributes and perks but they won't allow us to experiment with different builds and skill now that everything is revamped.

The skill builder site that we get isn't accurate because i didn't have all of the perks points unlocked on my current character, so I was short compared to what i used on the site.

You can, but only once and I'm pretty sure they've only provided one respec for roleplay reasons because attributes are V's whole identity as a character which goes hand-in-hand with dialogue choices.

You can reset perks indefinitely though.

Enemies, especially around airdrops, will drop perk and attribute shards a lot. Airdrops even come with them often, and you can buy them in the black market.
