Cards frozen on screen

I was playing a game earlier today and all the cards in my hand were frozen. I could not click them or interact with them in any way.

The only things I could interact on the screen were the mute option of my opponent and the pass button. They were "flat" on the screen and did not react to the cursor being placed over them.

It might be, but my opponent kept playing his rounds normally until I passed and lost the game.
