Customizing V's Apartment is a missed opportunity

It is very big and I kind of wonder if that is meant to be V's sign of success and that he and Jackie are making some serious bank on their way up the ladder.

Mind you, Jackie literally lives with his mom in her garage so dude has some problems.

I don't think Rent is that high. Barry (the cop) can afford one even though he is not working. Living in a Megabuilding is one step above being homeless.

And no. Jackie doesn't live with his mom in HER garage. He lives in her house, but has a garage with a small "living room" on the side.

So far in my playthrough apart from during Act 1 I haven't yet been back to apartment.
Think they could have done with making it more involved, meeting people there for missions, hooking up with LI's , Make a hub where you can buy/sell etc.
Without that I don't see customising it as particular priority.

The fact that I can't pet the kitty anymore gives me so much pain.

Deffo need an option to pet the kitty.

But I'd love an option to customize V's apartment, too. I just want more neon shit there. I'm a hoe for neons. It's pretty nice that we receive some mementos from the missions, but I'd love more options. The lighting, posters, stuff like that. Or if it's too much, just an option to change the style overall like it was, for example, in Saints Row 2.
