enabling ray reconstruction makes my game crash after a few seconds

+
after enabling ray reconstruction setting to on in the game, after a few seconds it made the game crash.
then when i tried to relaunch the game same deal after a few seconds it crashes again.
im already on the latest new nvidia driver, this is on a rtx 4070 gpu using dlss4 option (transformers)

hopefully i can get some assistance.

and this is what the error report says:

Error reason: Assert
Expression: <Unknown>
Message: Gpu Crash for unknown reasons! Callstack here is probably irrelevant. Check if Breadcrumbs or Aftermath logged anything useful.
File: E:\R6.Release\dev\src\common\gpuApi\src\dx12\gpuApiDX12Error.cpp(42)

Hi,
Important question : Do you use or used mods?
If you didn't, you can try to verify the game files, just in case and maybe also perform a clan install of your drivers.
NVIDIA
I. Download the latest Game Ready drivers using the following link: https://www.geforce.com/drivers
II. Download Display Driver Uninstaller and run it to remove previous versions of drivers.
III. Clean install drivers that you've downloaded in step 1.

i have mods, and ive also done DDU before installing the freshly added nvidia driver that came out today.
also did do verify integrity of the game files like 4 times, just to be sure but yeah did nothing.

Not sure, but it still can be caused by mods. Not guaranteed, but you never know as long as you don't perform a clean install of the game :(
It could also be something with the game itself or drivers, that's why you have to be sure to "remove" mods from the equation... And then, send a ticket to the support directly (the sooner, the better) > "contact us" button

thank you, i submitted my issue on contact us.

thank you, i submitted my issue on contact us.
In the meantime it's recommendable that you try to revert to the previous GPU driver. Try these instructions. I think the method is different for W10 and W11. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/notebook-driver-instructions/

Just a friendly advise, just because there's an update doesn't mean that you necessarily have got to update. If your game plays fine, leave it. If your mods play fine, leave them. That's all there's to it.
