This system doesnt make any sense to me for instance everytime I get a call from a fixer its always when Im in the middle of something why not have it so we call them or go to their offices then we arent being over whelmed with side quests and I feel would be more immersive and also you should need to build your cred to a certain point doing side quests before you get to start the chapter one quest because it makes no sense that a big fixer would give you such an important job with low street cred.
Then there the assaults and crimes in progress which I feel shouldnt show up till you pass an area and not have a map marker because how long are they going to rob some one or assault them till you get to the map marker on the map. This also gives you a reason to explore and find these instances.
