I heard this game was based off of another pen and paper style game but I can't seem to find any information about it by using google. Any one know the name or can post a link to info about the original game? Thanks.

A legal way to get it would be buy it from RPGNow, where R.Talsorian Games are still selling the PDF, along with the rest of the Cyberpunk product line.

Night City sourcebook is there for just over $7 at the moment.
