I'm no longer angry, I'm just tired and disappointed.
For months I've been having an error that makes the game freeze for a couple of seconds, then crash. A window from Radeon comes up for a supposed "Driver Timeout Error". Then, nothing to be done except closing the game from Task Manager.
I've contacted CDPR, contacted AMD, reinstalled multiple versions of GPU drivers (5700XT), reinstalled the game and verified the installations in both GOG and Steam, tried clean boot, even performed a clean install of Windows 10. The error is still there.
I just find it frustrating that I can't play a single card game in a PC that can run anything else, and that all of the effort I put in the game amounts for nothing because I can lose a match whenever the game feels like it, and there is no solution.
If there's someone who has experienced something similar and has any tips, I'd listen gladly. Whatever it means to continue enjoying the game. For the rest of you: have a nice day, and I hope none of you encounters this issue.
