Offering my services as a voice for any mission creators which im assuming will be in effect with this new modding tool.
I am an actor who has appeared in various productions TV and film.

Also in terms of this RedMod im still unable to get the gear symbol to show up on the Red launcher however when i installed it the Redmod was installed to the right place but my question is if you have bought the game from steam but then it takes you to a launcher which of these will get you to the right configuration regarding where to put the mod? Steam directory or Launcher?

I'm a writer and animator and would love to work on a quest mod as well... just no experience with coding :,) If you find somebody, let me know please!

And yeah I'm also facing that problem with Steam/second launcher! Wondering if it's because I also have Vortex? Idk

Well I did eventually get it to work through some trial and error and understanding where the application goes I hope you find a solution though.

do you have any ideas for potential missions or story additions?
I think more jackie interactions and missions could possibly be written what do you think?

how easy would it be to create a quest mod? even if it was just missions written in text could work too.

Personally I want more corpo-espionage types of missions. My V had the corpo background and I felt like I wanted more out of living that lifestyle.

Maybe fleshing out the Meridith relationship (via text since no VA?) or creating entirely new corpo characters to get close to/ seduce/ betray (I'm thinking the femme-fatale Benny interaction from Fallout New Vegas)

For implementing a quest mod, the script would need to include triggers for quest progression and map out diverging paths created by choices.
For example,

- Where does V pick up this quest? (time-based, location based, item interaction, NPC interaction)
- What are the steps of this quest? (Kill NPC, pick up item, enter location - maybe reaching these goals requires solving a puzzle or defeating a room full of enemies or avoiding conflict entirely)
- Do certain choices (like getting into conflict vs avoiding conflict) or dialog options affect how the quest progresses?
-What voice acting is needed?
- What NPCs are needed?
-What do the NPCs need to do?
- What is the goal of the quest? What are the rewards? (experience points, loot)

I'd imagine there are some default idle animations and walking animations that can be reused and there are voice actors like you who could voice new characters. But, V's voice might need to either be chopped up and edited into new phrases or omitted entirely for a new questline.

I think I'll try to write a fanfiction mod with Twine as a start :) See if anyone is interested in helping from there.

What kind of characters do you voice?

just a reminder, you cant actually make quests yet since its like one of the most complex things in the game and can require multiple things.
