There are weapons with an abnormally high DPS displayed

There are weapons in which the DPS of the weapon is displayed abnormally high.
And the description of the weapon is also mislabeled.
The hero-grade weapon in the photo above fires two shots at once, but it says that the rate of fire is reduced, but if you shoot it, it is not at all.
It is stated that the legendary weapon attacks 3.53 times per second and the hero level attacks 8.89 times per second, but there is no difference in attack speed between the two weapons.

it's a heavy machine gun. for fun I picked it up and used it and it was mowing down high level 25+ enemies no problem, even when my toon was level 15

I'll keep that in mind for next time. I have Comrade's Hammer upgraded and perked to one hit kill status right now.

This is caused by reolad speed. Your reload speed will cause your attacks per second to go up, causing your dps to go up. There is a perk that temporarily increase reload speed after killing an enemy.
