Unable to Adjust HUD Size, Clips offscreen on PS4

+
Either I'm missing something or this needs urgently sorted.

No obvious or indeed stated ability in game to adjust HUD size or screen area, and even taking safe area down in PS4 setting the UI still clips offscreen.

Likely a resolution conflict. Best to report it here:

I'll dump a ticket in but this is using everything from disabled HDR and set display exporting/resolutions and refresh and even reducing Safe Area to minimum to see if that dragged the UI back as the display itself is fine as is the framing.

Worst bit is the clip could be sorted by literally by the looks of it being able to drop to 0.9 if it's flagged at 1 currently or 90 of default if not, it's the sort of thing I'd normally sort for clients/events simply by pulling my projector mask from that element back in a fraction rather than a full rework as it's more an aspect issue since the framing for the actual motion segment is fine otherwise.

my tv don't support HDR so i's difficult to adjust the cyberpunk2077 screen to fit correctly as not all UI is visible on the tv. most of them are missing because cyberpunk2077 is too big or something like that.

Check your settings on the PlayStation 4. It has a setting for TV size and abunch of games default to the size your playstation is set at. I have had this problem in the past and normally if I changed the PlayStation 4 settings it would resolve this issue. It's a temporary fix. I hope they add UI scaling in the future. Hope this helps!

thanks for the tips. tried that and zero result. still looking around. i found a youtube video showing how to change the UI and it seemed to only be able to change UI through HDR function. so if your tv don't support HDR then it's either force to buy a new up to date tv or ask for a refund for the game.

I Have the same problem : p do you think it can be fixed in next patches or 0 chance ? Its really annoying

Hud layout is BEYOND stupid. It should be within 16:9 aspect and not 32:9! Cut bonus pay for whoever did this poor UI layout without proper scaling on UW and SUW.

really silent here. i suppose this thread title is not a correct title to explain tv issues or simply the tv issues aren't affecting that big of the Cyberpunk2077 community.

I'm using an AVR that is HDCR 2.2 compliant feeding out to a 4K Display and work with Visuals/Display Equipment for a job.

This isn't a TV issue which is why the Title is correct for what it is, if it had been UI clips off my TV I'd have said that but since I have my console hooked up to my playback screen ( which isn't a TV ) your comment about it being a wrong title is the incorrect thing here.

This is that even with everything checked and also using the PS4 setting to pull the Safe Area inside my screen boundaries by a good inch or so each way I have a UI that clips offscreen and hasn't been sorted by the horfixes so far.

It's as if the Scaling is fixed at 1.1 or something else that overscales it past the screen boundaries, and all it needs is literally a reduction to about 90% of current set value and it would fit perfectly.

my tv is missing all those UI being clipped from tv. would you think the issue of mine would somehow be the same issue of yours or just different?

I play with a simple 1080p Full HD monitor.
If I set my PS4 to 1080p everything is fine.
If I set it to 720p the HUD starts clipping.

I'm running this game on a PS4 Pro on a Samsung 4K TV (not running on HDR settings as apparently they're bugged anyway!) and even though I don't have this issue I thought I might offer a few suggestions of things I would try, if I did have it:

1. Restart your Playstation - if you're like me I only put my Playstation into Rest Mode but it is always beneficial, as with any hardware to completely shut down and start up again.

2. Clear the Playstation cache - Shut down your Playstation completely then remove the power cable from the back of the console and leave it for at least 2 minutes, then plug it back in and turn the console on and load up the game.

3. Delete and re-download/re-install the game again - You don't have to delete your game saves so no progress should be lost but it might be that the game didn't install properly the first time round or one of the patches got corrupted during download so a delete and reinstall might fix this.

where do i clear the playstation cache?

Shut down your Playstation completely then remove the power cable from the back of the console and leave it for at least 2 minutes. Doing this will clear the cache.
hey there. just tested this as well downloading the game again. didn't do much but it did improve the crashing to be more less. used to be a lot.
