Vehicle Backfiring

I am really enjoying playing this game again after the 2.0 patch.

But I have to ask, am I the only one that finds the constant backfiring of every vehicle I've tried so far unbelievably annoying? (still haven't tried the higher cost vehicles so I'm holding out hope...)

You are not alone. It is an annoyance, even though I can live with it. Although I usually avoid driving as much as I can, so that makes it more tolerable for me I guess.

What about the gear changing that sounds like the transmission is running dry? Shifts sound almost like a flat tire.
