I'd bet we'll get Meve. Saw some podcast or some where they mention each faction getting a new leader down the road. Wouldn't be surprised if the NR one will be Meve in correspondence with the single player. She'll be your leader there either way.

I want all well known bandits from the books and games: Azar Javed, The Proffesor, All 7 members of Rats (Falka (no reall name, only Falka), Giselher, Mistle,...), Hotsporn (maybe?), Renfri and the 7 Gnomes, Nissirs family, Angouleme + Slaviks bandit group , Kenna Selborne + Skellens searching group (Andrzej Vierny, Boreas Mun,...).

Also: Nimue, King Fisherman, Ziwik, The Unicorn (ehhh, what was his name? Ihharraquax???), Loredo and his Mother XD, Shillard-Fitz Oesterlensen? , Houvenaghel, Baron Casadei + Matild de Nementh-Uyvar (pervert nilfgaardian couple).... and thats (I think) all I would like to see added.

EDIT: Tea and Vea aswell.

And don´t forget Essi Daven as a new NR bard.

EDIT: And Visenna as a neutral mage/healer.

Both can have some synergy with witcher card types...

tons of them really....the Rats for sure, Nimue, Tisaia de Vries, Lydia van Bredevoort and more sorcery-related cards in general, maybe with some new mechanic (illusions?), Codringher and Fenn and many many more.

Kalkstein is sorely missed. He and the Pellar would be very amusing additions. Percival Schuttenbach as well.

I'm also looking forward to Witch Hunter characters being added. Menge, Graden, Tamara, and likely some bronzes. Hopefully they'll form a viable Radovid archetype.

The ones i read in previuos post, i wish ot have soon : Renfri, Tisaia, Lydia.
Also that dude in Polish its name : Cykada, not sure if he got other names or what english eqiv is

Definitely agree with Rats, Essi, Angouleme, an entire Toussaint Faction, a Hym for monsters, Sylvan, Eveline Gallo, etc etc

Gamplaywise, I'd love to see Vsyogota added as a neutral gold who gains a big benefit for being the only card on the side of the board. It seems to suit him quite well

In terms of lore, The Rats are great characters. I really want Witch Hunters as well, although I imagine I wouldn't really enjoy playing the result. The Sylvan from The Witcher 3 (I forget his name) and Hym would be great for monsters. But mainly, pretty much the entirety of The Wicher 1, in particular The Order. I still think it's the best option for a new faction, but even if not, Jacques de Aldersberg needs to be in the game.

I want a new Monster faction that will be only vampires the leader can be Unseen Elder who we already have Or Deathlaff. The deck will run no weather cards it will have bruxas garkains and all the vampire types from blood and wine and the rest of the game.It can be either consume monster or suck points out of the enemy unit and then transform and gain more points. The top gold cards we need are Deathlaff maybe a new Regis for that deck and Orianna

Rats, Renfri and Co, Lady of the Lake, Stregobor, Calanthe, human Villen with Tea and Vea.

There's a gigantic plethora of characters I want but the absence of Witcher 1 characters/units sticks out like a sore thumb,

I agree. My number one wanted character from W1 is Kalkstein. Also, i would like to see Vincent, Adda, Siegfried. Honorable mentions: Resolute girl, Shani's landlady. :)

Professor.
3 Strength silver. Damage unit by 5 and after 2 turns at the start of your turn return to your deck. If the damaged unit is a witcher, kill him. (The numbers is subject to change, but the ability is based on his kaer morhen attack in witcher 1)

Voice lines:
Ah. Another fairy tale...
I hear witchers can parry bolts in flight... Let see...
You fail to grasp the basic rules...

So basically an 8 str silver with possibility to remove a witcher from the board.

More books character! [Book "Spoiler" Alert]

It's been a while since I first read the books - around eight years - and I loved them. Playing Gwent and finding so many familiar character it's great! HOWEVER some very important chacter are still missing. I'm talking about Angoulême (who helped Geralt when he was chasing down Vilgefortz), witcher Coen (less important but mentioned in the first The Witcher game, he fought along side with the northern realms during the Battle of Brenna) and, last but not least, the Rats (Falka's Hansa during the event of Baptism of Fire).
Surely I didn't mention many other important characters but those where just a taste.
Sapkowski's books have a ton of potential, I just hope it won't be wasted (I trust you CPR!)

Which characters would you like to see as cards?

We all knows how vast the world of The Witcher is and how many interesting and unique characters we have in the books and in the games so that's why I think it would be nice we express our wish to see the characters we like as proper cards in Gwent, don't you think? I think it would be fun and interesting if CD Projekt hear your suggestions about that.

Well, in my opinion I would like to see Vernossiel in the game because she is (unfortunately) the only Scoia'tael (and one of the most beautiful) that received some highlight in the third game. I also would like to see Forlan and Vigi the Loon too, loved those two in The Lord of Undvik quest. I also think Vlodimir von Everec would be great addition as neutral card, who didn't love see him possessing Gerald during the wedding? To me it was one of the best moments in the game. What you guys think?

By the way here are the characters that will be cards that aren't on the game yet but we probably will see in a near future:

I'd love to see Auberon Muircetach as either a gold or leader card that spawns a poisoned cup (foul ale) into your opponent's hand.

Also Detlaff and Wild Hunt versions of Geralt and Avallac'h,

Northern Realms: Jarre
Skellige: Brisingamen (not a character, I know)
Nilfgaard: Stella Congreve
Monsters: Zeugl
Scoia'tael: Torque
