CDPR please watch this thread and don't dismiss any opinion!
First of all, I have to say that in the beginning I felt kinda let down when I saw the 14-minute footage, but after days of analyzing the video itself, listen to your podcasts, and other news about Cyberpunk 2077, I thought I felt ready to post this and let my thoughts be read and see if others can agree with some of them or not and that being said:
1-. I'm aware of the Character Creator system you showed is scaled down, as for the graphics (not downgraded perse) inside the game and that you will implement a vast variety of options into it. Please, let it be vast with everything because it really scared me when I saw the gameplay and realized, there were only 3 surface wiring options, only 7 eye colors, not enough hairstyles, scars, tattoos and light tattoos, etc (kinda sneaky move from you guys but I can understand not to overhype something). Just don't narrow down our options please and as we don't know the full extent of the CC system, let me say that it would make an awesome mechanic that what you showed in the "Deep Dive" gameplay is the beginning and all other CC features (Loads more options) are unlocked when we earn Street Cred or something like that.
2-. The whole article about "Removing" male or female entirely was a bad PR decision on your part since that is not completely true.
For all who thought that was the case, rest easy because we will still be referred to as He/She or neutral (V as a pronoun) if we do so choose.
In short, stop using these types of PR moves which will not have a positive outcome.
3-. I noticed that if you shoot a bullet or hit with a nano-wire, or even strike with the blades, there are not a mark of said hit/shot on any of the NPCs and was wondering if you could implement that in the game. It would be awesome if the skin of the NPCs reacts to those types of interactions coming from us.
4-. Have you considered how long will the bodies/body parts or corpses stay on the ground after we killed or knocked them down? Will they stay on the floor for days, forever? Or is it going to depend on a certain part of the city we're in?
5-. I respect your decision of making Cyberpunk 2077 almost full FPP, but some cut-scenes here and there couldn't hurt your creative and artistic decision now could it?
6-. Please make a smart AI for everyone involved, because from what I saw is kinda lacking. Even the non-hostile NPCs didn't react to the shooting in the streets nor the reckless driving. The enemies reaction doesn't look too realistic. If we attack a hostile NPC, the ones with him/her should react at once and attack accordingly, not waiting a turn to attack us.
PS: I guess that I can say that for the vast majority, we appreciate you're making Cyberpunk 2077 and please hear our feedback.
PS2: I already pre-ordered it, which is a huge deal for me and for most gamers since every other Developer Company out there uses awful and predatory practices to dry the gamer for more money when the game isn't worth the effort, but you have been the antithesis of that. Please don't change, but also don't get cocky.
