same problem here. installed it 6 times now, tried SSD & HDD, tried with/without language pack...nothing does the trick.
when I try to start the game just NOTHING happens now. the first few times I got "witcher3.exe stopped working", but now just nothing happens.

My Rig:
i5 2500k @4.4
MSI GTX 970
8GB Ram
Samsung 840Evo SSD

Found a fix!!

Uninstall Galaxy Client, then
start cmd/powershell & execute the following:

sc delete GalaxyClientService
sc delete GalaxyCommunication

After that it started for me!

I installed the game via downloading everything through GOG.
I had the "Problem Event Name: BEX64"-issue.
I installed the GOG Galaxy-Client, which automatically scanned the W3-files and downloaded additional files. Now it's working

I was able to resolve the issue by following the steps below from the FAQ:

1. Uninstall Galaxy
2. Open command line (Start->type "cmd" -> right click "cmd.exe" and click "run as administrator")
3. Type sc delete GalaxyClientService
sc delete GalaxyCommunication
4. Go to //gamedir\bin\x64 and rename or delete galaxy.dll
5. Launch the game, an error message will pop up, but the next time you start it everything should be fine

This just fixed it for my friend with AMD card, he only had to rename the galaxy.dll file, it works now.
