Beat on the Brat: Counter is glitched

I have legendary gorilla arms with Rink3u battery and thermal knuckles, the danger level is moderate.

Every time I counter (the animation plays so I know it was successful) I take as much damage as I would I just let them hit me.

Makes the quest impossible to beat. I’m playing on an Xbox One S
