[bug?] Something wrong with Rank score

I am rank 8;

Fist I played against Rank 11 - Lost the game and got -57 rank score.
Second match I again got matched against a Rank 11 with my Rank 8 - Won this time and ONLY got back +47 ... ???

So when I lose against a much higher ranked player I lose more score then I gain when I win again a much higher ranked player?

Anyone else find this a bit ... strange, to put it nicely.

It's not a bug. Your first opponent most likely had less rank points than you, he just dropped way far down from his tier threshold.

Exactly, if you use Gwent Tracker you can see his current MMR. I got matched with a rank 15 player today (highest there is) yet his MMR was below mine... this new patch/faction caused many players who had last patch down to a science to freefall on the leaderboard. CDPR really should have begun a new season since the game very much changed.
