Cannot rebind all keys PC Steam

As title, I'm getting 'Binding Failed', even when there is no other key bound to the key I'm trying to use - e.g. I don't use WASD for movement, but if I try to change the W key to e.g. Strafe Left, it says Binding Failed.

This is affecting a ton of keys, including critical stuff like movement and Primary Interact, meaning I cannot use my normal rebound key settings, extremely frustrating

Same for me, I cant rebind C to anything but Crouch(Toggle), i was messing around with commands and now im stuck with this stupid bug...

Yeah I tried switching LCTRL and C because I always have toggle crouch on my CTRL, but it doesn't allow C to rebind it.

Luckily though you can switch it this way;

• Click on the Windows icon and type %localappdata%
• Go to C:\Users\ [[[Your Windows Username]]] \AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077
• Open usersettings.json and find whichever keybind you wish to change and switch it that way.

That's how I was able to rebind C to crouch.

Hey CD Projekt Red Team,

I love this game, but it is quite annoying to be forced to configure the usersettings.json file every time you all release a patch. Can we please get full keybind customization?

I know I'm the gonk because I put my hand where it's supposed to go when you type on a keyboard, but it's just so much more sense to me to always use the keyboard the same way.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I use ESDF to play all my games but Cyberpunk is the only game that actually bugs out when trying to rebind keys. Very strange, and quite peculiar that they never fixed this issue despite it being reported over and over again in so many different forums and places.
