Cant meditate

I have just started vizima and killed the monster in the sewer now im in the streets but when i try to distribute talents via meditation at a fire i cant the cursor does not change when i pass it over a fire place do i need a camp fire or something or do normal fire places in houses work just fine someone please help much apreciated ;D

In certain houses with fireplaces it is possible to meditate. If you talk to the house occupant (providing there is one) you should get the icon coming up that allows you to rest. Click that nad you will go into meditate mode. Otherwise you will have to find a campfire. There is one outside the Hairy Bear inn where you can always meditate.
