Compilations of bugs and glitches as of 2.2 across different platforms

I've reported some of these to the Tech support page, however I found this list to be too large for a tech support email.
This is a compilation of issues i've been noticing through all supported platforms, some been there since launch and some added with patches. Tried keeping it as grounded as possible. It's quite long but I'd appreciate if you could take a look at it.

I’d like to start with the more “intrusive” issues. The first two are related to the HUD and HDR, could perhaps be the same issue but I can’t know for sure, screenshots captured on PS5 with HDR on (HDR10 PQ)
Film grain only applies to HUD elements rather than the whole screen, appears to have been broken with 2.2



I’m not sure if these two issues are related, but you can see a very clear outline of crosshair when looking at the sun or perhaps any light source with HDR on. Of course I had to take the pic from my phone because this isn’t visible in a normal screenshot


The next intrusive issue was introduced with 2.1 and the addition of the radioport. Music from random radio stations will start playing at random (only happens when the radio is off, and appears to only happen while driving though I can’t confirm this). As well as randomly lowering the volume or being too loud. Here’s an example of music randomly playing when radio is off (Captured on my PC, all default settings in the game, medium graphic preset and SSD installed)

More minor, but still quite noticeable pair of visual issues, are related to the metro.
The first one is that the metro will always get stuck in Charter Hill (May also apply to other places but I haven’t tested yet).
The second one is that the metro floats over the Santo Domingo metro station, I believe this is because the tracks used to be there before 2.1, and they were moved beneath to fit the metro station in 2.1, but the metro path wasn’t changed. Both issues shown in the video, captured on PS5. Issues are present on all platforms:

Now still issues on all platforms, the following are issues that have been fixed in mods by modder Sosuine.
Light beams(Cargo ships, corpo plaza, westbrook skyline) are missing since 2.1 on all platforms. Now I don’t know if it was intentional. If it wasn’t, this is how cargo ships currently look like:

And this is how they used to look like before 2.1 (This is an official pre-release screenshot, but the beams made it through all patches until 2.1)

Light Beams Fix - This is pretty much the issue I reported above

Vanilla Rain Effect Fix - Removes a weird cut from the rain effect

Particles Flickering Fix - Quoting the mod page description “After Phantom Liberty, the game has a new bug. You may have noticed a very intensive particles flickering somewhere in Watson. This happens because of the smoke effects placed in the air, which are only used in the new ending(AV scene). For some reason, they will spawn at a certain point in PL (you don't even need to finish the new ending) and will never disappear. This mod simply removes those effects.”

Decals Flickering Fix - Fixes multiple instances of decals overlapping other decals throughout the world

Car Dodge Stutter Fix - Fixes issue where NPCs will often freeze after dodging a vehicle

Melee Attacks Fixes And Enhancements - This one is a little more complex, but I’ll quote the main fix in the description. “Fixes attacks direction. When a weapon visually hits, for example, from top to bottom, but in fact the attack has a completely different direction, which results in wrong hit detection and enemy reaction. The most frequent case - any deflect attack.”

Enemies Dodging Fix - Fixes issue introduced with 2.0 where enemies can only dodge backwards using one animation, according to the author.

EDIT: Other good mods that fix stuff are Deceptious Bug Fixes and Quest Trigger Fixes. Some of these issues were already fixed with 2.2, but not most.

Moving onto console issues, and more specifically PS5;
This all appears to be one single issue, but I’ve recorded all instances of this issue I could think of. There’s this type of 3D particle effect that interacts with the environment a little bit, and then vanishes (Bullet casings, debris, drugs, sparks, glass shards, meat, etc.), they’re quite recognizable by their flicker. However, either these particles phase through the floor, or are completely missing in both PS5 and Xbox series.
Looking at old footage, these particles were present in the 1.0 launch version, but they were removed shortly after.
In the following video, I compare the PC version to the PS5 version. (The PC footage doesn’t have any audio, not sure why this happened)

A more minor issue, textures that normally have tessellation effects on PC appear completely flat on PS5 (Can’t confirm if Xbox series does). This applies to cracked concrete, puddles, and others, but most noticeably this bunch of gravel. Once again I compare PC to PS5, I had to increase the texture fidelity to high on PC for the tessellation effect to be present.

The following issue is exclusive to PS5, works as intended on Xbox Series. Vegetation lacks wind interaction effect during all weather conditions except sandstorm. PC to PS5 again.

That’s it for major issues/glitches/bugs that I would love to see sorted out.
Finally, I would also like to add a couple minor suggestions of my own.

First - I believe Johnny appears too often in the vehicle after patch 2.2. Would be nice if this was rarer and if it could be disabled.

And second - I think the ragdolls are too stiff, and often end up in very awkward poses. The mod Ragdoll Physics Overhaul addresses this nicely and doesn’t seem to break anything else in the game. Here’s a couple examples of the awkward poses vanilla ragdolls can end up with

Smart to add the mods that fix the issues to your post. Shows that a lot of other people have the problem AND it can be fixed by the DEV.
