Cyberware Scaling Bug

just wanted to post to make a Bug known since i havent seen it anywhere. ive been in the late game and playing through Phantom Liberty and i ran into a bug where when i Upgraded my cyberware to max (5++) it auto unequipped it and the kept the cost of the cyberware meaning i would need double the space to re-equipe it. On top of that after that happend and i tried to load an older savefile (Which happened to be right at the end of a quest which Gave me enough XP for a level up) and an addional bug came in where my Max. Cyberware limit no longer grows with a Level up and the previous bug with the Leveling Gear still is in affect. basically completly locking me out from interacting with the Cyberware for the rest of the Game.

added some Screenshots to show 1. is the Gear pre level up and 2. post level up to show that it no longer increaces. 3. and 4. is to show what happens if you upgrade Gear to max. (in this case i used the Mantis Blades but i tried it with other gear same result).

This has been a huge problem, and that they've still not fixed it blows my mind. I can't even upgrade many of my cyberware mods beyond rank 5 because of it.

Unfortunately I'm not aware of a fix. However, at least from my experience, I believe that if an issue is not getting answered within one week, it most likely means that it's a known issue and that it's already being addressed by the devs.

That being said, it's probably a good idea to backup your local savefiles (if you haven't already), just in case it's one of those bugs that keeps persisting with the files despite an update.
 
Its a known serious bug and the fact CDPR hasn't officially addressed it anywhere just shows how much of a corpo they have become.

Basically the brand new Cyberware system they promoted so much with 2.0 is not working as intended. They will eventually fix it (I hope), but its probably a more serious issue with the new game code, which is why its taking them so much time.
