Easter eggs (spoilers)

Stock values or something include a very familiar company:

- Apparently, several real world people and particularly content creators (I think devs too, maybe?) are in the game as characters.
The streamers DechartGames, CyborgAngel, and SashaGrey are in-game. Sasha is the voice for the Grul radio station. Angel is a character at a music store. Dechart are the voices for the two characters for the quest with the talking vending machine.

Yeah, there's also a elon musk that can be spawned with the AMM-Mod, never seen him during normal gameplay though...

Two new easter eggs that came with 2.0.

One is a Doom easter egg which can be found in a dilapidated old church within the solar plant fields south of Pacifica.
Its a
doom-style rendition of Silverhands escape from the Arasaka tower.

Additionally: there is a computer nearby with messages that add fuel to the fire of the 3-year old mystery known as "FF06B5"

Well to be honest, Bryan Dechart is an actor and a voice actor, probably best known for his role as main character Connor in Detroit: Become human. Playing one artificial intelligence to another, I guess that was just a regular job for him rather than an easter egg. That he and his wife are also streamers is just a bonus :D

:p His wife did a voice in Detroit: Become Human and CP2077. She was the woman in love with the vending machine and she voiced Traci in Detroit.

There is a direct witcher 3 easter egg inside Dogtown too, apparently. (Only accessible by owners of Phantom liberty)

There is certain phone number on a sticky note. If you dial it on the phone inside the Capitán Caliente restaurant, the witcher 3 theme will play through the phone, and Johnny will give you a grin and thumbs up.
The number is:
5745552377

Thanks to reddit user MayorMayNotBeSitting for this one.

I came across this one. Wasn't surprised to see it had already been posted here years ago.

I'm doing that quest at the moment, and picked the Spanish Inquisition reply option because it was funny and because I expected an easter egg. I wasn't disappointed.

Now this isn't perhaps strong enough case to be an actual easter egg, but I definitely feel that V's fight against the Chimera in the Dogtown intro has been strongly influenced by Major Kusanagi's fight against the mech in Mamoru Oshii's 1995 Ghost in the Shell animated movie. (Note: the scene also happens in the manga)

Note: this video is NSFW. (Shows Kusanagis tits near the end)

Actually I think this is quite a strong case. Nice find!

Not Doom, it is Wolfenstein.

Not Doom, it is Wolfenstein.

Thanks, I probably would've been able to tell the difference myself if I had seen it, as I played the snot out of Wolfenstein back in the day. To the extent that I was already bored at shooters by the time Doom came out. However, Ive not seen the easter egg in question. Its easy to tell though: if there are differences in elevation on the map, its doom. Otherwise Wolfenstein 3D. (That was Dooms one big innovation back then)

EDIT: I found the easter egg and it indeed resembles Wolfenstein more than Doom.

Does anyone else think that this dude who is sipping Champagne with Kurt Hansen inside the Black Sapphire in "You know my name" mission, resembles Geralt a bit? Long white hair, dapper black suit.. He also cant be scanned.

The name of the mission is also an obvious James Bond reference. "You know my name" is the theme song to the 2006 James Bond movie Casino Royale, sung by Chris Cornell.

Got a quest from a guy called Dennis Cranmer. There is a dwarf in the Witcher universe who has the exact same name -- and I don't believe for a second that it's a coincidence.

A classical literature one: a quest called "Another Circle of Hell" involving an NPC named Dante.

(Inferno by Dante Alighieri is, of course, the work of literature referred to. Nine circles of Hell.)
