Hybrid bug on melee

Playing Hybrid (it's a quite useless monster card 4 provision) on the melee row doesn't boost by 5 when destroying a unit during the same turn, enemy unit or allied unit doesn't matter, no boost.

I tried it playing hybrid and then use kikimore warrior which destroys allied unit on same turn, also tried it with OH leader ability which destroys allied unit on same turn and with destroying an enemy unit the same turn after playing hybrid (with apiarian phantom's order). So i lost some games only because of this ofcourse and this made me really really sad. ')
 
You must first destroy a unit and only then play hybrid. If you play first hybrid and then destroy - even it is in the same turn - it won't work
 
I made the same mistake so many times, even knowing that I had to play it after. In the end I started using it in the range row and consuming my own units instead.
