Hi all, just stop to say hi and just in time to see a new @Valer48's story...
;)

After some times not playing the game listening the "Only You" song make me feel the game and the Judy's touch...
Hope the DLC for end of July will come with some Judy inside

Hope the DLC for end of July will come with some Judy inside
From what I was hearing on some youtube channels it could be in August.
Fingers crossed I hope the next update is huge.

I pushed back the deadline as much as possible, but now, I haven't the choice, otherwise I will never receive her messages :)
Goodness sake, this quest is really the best quest ever ! So much screenshots...

I don't know why but the second one is stuck in my head and always in my mind, when I think of Judy.
Recently I played through this moment again and tried to catch it by myself.

At that moment I would of rather have been there to see Judy instead.
Evelyn was never a good and trusted friend since she kept manipulating and lying to Judy
for her own self interest.

I'm not sure Evy have really manipulating or lying to Judy, because she have planned to leave Night City with Judy (and said that to Judy in a message), but she doesn't said all the truth, that's for sure :)

I thought that Evelyn was just using Judy when I first played the game. But there is an interesting bit of info you get when your speaking to Judy on the roof after Evelyn died. She says she was going through the recordings in her head and the last thing Ev was thinking about was the last time her and Judy spoke to each other. Judy says that Evelyn can't of been recording, so she was just replaying it while the horrible things were being done to her.
So Evelyn was thinking about Judy all the while she was getting put through the XBDs. I have no doubt that all she tried to do (the heist) was just to give her and Judy a chance of getting out of Night City. Makes what happened to her all the more tragic... :(

Also Judy had no idea Evelyn was involved in the heist of the relic getting
V involved. until she viewed the two BD's Evelyn tried to keep hidden. Even
from Judy, again showing she wasn't a true friend. She knew Judy would of
tried to talk her out of it in the first place. A true friend doesn't lie to you
or try to use you for their own gain.

Really made no sense as to why we only had partial access to our cyberware.,
we could have taken Dex and his bodyguard out easily.
We would always have full access to our cyberware 24/7, even any arm cyberware would be fully accessible.
It doesn't take only a gun to kill someone in Night City when we have cyberware at our disposal.

Judy reminds me of someone I knew, and yeah, that in-game romance reminded me of my past relationship.

Then, when Judy left in the Secret Sun ending, it felt like meh, I am so done with this.

So, make Judy stay with V just for that one more gig, and make the gig work. That would be way more fulfilling.

Besides, I really wanna drive my Caliburn through the entire Crystal Palace. And I mean it. I. Want. To. Enter. Every. Single. Room. With. The. Caliburn. Beep beeeeeeeeeeep!

Evelyn was a mess, even before Voodoo Boys messed her up totally. Yeah, I never trusted her, just like I never trusted Dex. Both of them didn't deserve any trust from me. The reason for not trusting Dex from the start: that question, bang or old age. Seriously? I would have pointed a gun at him that moment, and asked to stop the car if it were me playing my V. F... that gig. F... Dex. That question was the point when I didn't want to do any business with him. And yeah, that is what he mentions before he kills V.

Though, how Evelyn wound up, no one should go through that. If you looked around at that Scav den, that Scavenger place is a display of total dump of every last shred of humanity for profit. I enjoyed thoroughly hunting them down one by one in silence, and I still feel so much rage towards those rats.

I wouldn't mind if there was a tiny expansion quest that sends some 1,000 Scavengers my way, on very hard difficulty level. Let's say that we're all locked in a small space, and the more their numbers drop, the more panic/mania they display. It starts at 9pm, and the place only opens at dawn.

And yeah, I want the news to make it a f... headline! "At least a thousand Scavengers were found butchered in their own den. The authorities sealed the place out of fear that whatever killed them might come out."

imho. If Evelyn lived, it would have probably lead to the best possible outcome for Judy, as well. If things would've worked out as planned. And if Evelyn didn't have another plan 'on the side' as a possibility, let's say. Whatever information she kept from Judy, it was for Judy's sake at a time. Probably knowing the way she would've reacted and to keep her out of harm's way, potentially.

My vision, maybe, probably wrong...

Evy don't tell the truth to Judy because she know in advance her reaction. Seeing Judy's reaction when she finds out it's about Arasaka and Yorinobu. If in addition Evy had told Judy that she was doing it initially for the Voodoo Boys, but that she was going to betray them to sell the Relic to Netwatch, it is sure and certain that Judy would never have agreed to help (to at least avoid big problems for Evy and a little for her own life).

So Evy probably didn't tell Judy anything, not to manipulate her or openly lie to her, but rather to keep her from knowing too much and to protect Judy if something went wrong (the less you know the better). But Evy's final goal was to leave Night City with Judy, to give her a better life than in Lizzie's creepy basement editing porn BDs (and also so that she herself could leave her doll life).

If she didn't care about Judy, Evy wouldn't have bothered to do her little spitch before meeting Judy for the first time.
"She's always been there for me, I trust her and she's not the last member of your team, she's a Mox... So hold on tight and hold your tongue"

So its share of real good intention in my opinion :)
"I'll make sure you don't have to do anything for the rest of your life but art"

Evy's message to Judy on her computer (right time) :

But in the end I find it hard to blame Evy because we are not going to lie to each other, despite the looks, the life of a doll (even a luxury one), it's a real shitty life... So when the opportunity to get out of it presents itself, it seems logical to grab it (or at least to try). And if you can help your best friend at the same time, that's even better...
Quite the opposite of Dex, who lays his big ass quietly at the Afterlife.

Could be difficult, except if you have a "Space-Caliburn" :)

There were red flags all over the place even before you stepped into that hotel room
and V would of had a gut instinct something didn't feel right.

From the bodyguard answering the door instead of Dex, then walking into the hotel room
seeing Dex freaking out in front of the tv. Him saying to go wash your face what is he V's dad?

By the way Jackie was no saint ether if you were playing the lifepath of a Nomad. His real intensions
was to screw V over right after you both crossed the boarder. It made no sense why you had to take him with you
seeing there was a car parked behind the trailer.

I know how much people love to fawn over him, but I could of done without him honestly.
From the relic and V getting shot and killed the first time it all steams back to Jackie.
getting V involved with that job in the first place.

Sliverhand was irrelevant I would rather it had been "Alt" Cunningham as V's construct.
Johnny should have been nothing more then a fading memory.

Even if we are a little off-topic, in the Street Kid lifepath too, Jackie tries to screw V (steal him the stolen car) :)
That's the life of Night City and the gangs, "fuck the other one before he fucks you".
He at least has the honesty to tell you :D

Maybe, but why search Alt, if she's already in V's head. In short V already know how to "try" to save him/herself. That's skipe a whole part of the story and deprive of the pleasure of waking up with a big asshole in the head :(

The part where "Alt" separates V and Silverhand with soulkiller and then V leaves him behind
that was the only part I liked involving Silverhand. The street kid path and Jackie shoving a gun in V's
face. Then its "Suddenly we're chooms lets go have lunch" *eyeroll* Give me a break.

Do you know why this speaks to me about Jackie and V ?
Because when I arrived in boarding school, my (future) best friend was the person I hated the most in my whole class... it was "real" war for a month, until the day we were punished together (to do all the boring chores...) and since that day, it had been like a revelation, we have been inseparable for the 10 years that followed before life separates us (unfortunately).
It was less "quick" than Jackie and V, but seem to be trully possible for me :)

For me Johnny is part of the good times of my first playthrough (not as good than with Judy, but good enough for remember it a long time). When I saw him after "The Heist", I said to myself, here is my super mate, this is going to be so cool. But after the apartment, it did not really go as I had hoped... Well, that was not planned, we will not be the best friends apparently... I hadn't seen that coming :D
Honestly, I thought it was awesome.

But hey, we go astray, I think o_O

Don't get me wrong I love the game and characters we meet and all
but they kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Its like Jackie and the rest were
forced into V's life, and we weren't given any real choice how we wanted to deal with them.
But that's just me and we all take away something different from our experience.
Over a thousand hours so I can't say I dislike the game. Taking the good with the bad
it is what it is. :D

The bodyguard is fine imo, he'd always been tailing Dex.
I like to play with my gun, so I noticed I couldn't take it out there, and that made me feel uneasy. That piece of the story is sort of crap.

Could be difficult, except if you have a "Space-Caliburn" :)
I intend to just hold 'V' to call it. It doesn't have to make sense. ;)

Sort of like climbing onto the Arena by stacking up cars.

Jackie obviously needed V to get something into the city, under the pretense that V still enjoys protection from her folks. Perhaps an authentic car was part of the backstory. Too bad they sniffed that no one protects V. Imo, Jackie only binds well with the corpo V. If I didn't play as a corpo, I'd just forget about him and move on pretty quickly. Drink to Jackie? Screw that, drink to ME. But, as a corpo, I think it is Jacke when not 'this'.

This is not necessarily all off-topic, I think it shows how all pieces of the story are tied in together.

And yeah, credits to Judy. I think it's shame that she and Jackie didn't get to meet each other through V.

Some of it was like making choices with one hand tied behind your back.
