Judy romance update/expansion/DLC.

Besides nothing to see, but have you noticed that since the 1.2, the word "Relic" appears on our 6th skill ?

Isn't all this exciting, Choom ?

It's not exciting if that's for some kind of expansion that happens during main story. I'd be kinda disappointed if that's the case.
1. Disappointed, because it's not happening AFTER the ending.
2. But kinda glad we're getting more content for CP.

I just want an expansion that follows certain endings

Yeah, here's to hoping it's a dlc about V finally getting rid of this in her brain.

Chances are we could be disappointed of course. But we must not be discouraged.

We've been talking about this for over 100 pages, and given Judy's popularity, of course we'll see him again.

And at worst if it's not in Arizona, this is where she will live on forever.

ahah indeed it is possible. but i don't know if panam managed to find a miracle cure under a pebble. I hope that MBE was honest took care of V and that she found judy. they currently live quiet every 2. even if V is sometimes being a gonk

I'm more to think that Judy can have a real role to play in the "cure" for V. With all her knowledge in BD and with Vik's help they can manage to make something happen about the relic, V's reborn ?

It's 50 years between the johnny's relic created and then. So I imagine that some talented engineer could manage to make something more or like this.

So I guess that whatever ending you choose, if V let Johnny live or that she left, there are possibilities for people to recreate the relic, save/reshape V's brain.

I think perfect development for Judy is instead of making porn BD she can improve her skill and begin to make constructs that people can interact with so people can talk to their dead loved ones, and Judy can then speak to Evelyn again.
I think that would be beautiful for Judy.
V can also have Jackie back and talk to him whenever she needs some encouragement. Not to mention doing something for Panam like make a scorpion, Bobby and Saul construct for her.

I think that's highly unlikely nor it will make any sense lore wise. Judy is a skill BD editor, but she doesn't even know what an engram is when V tells her about Johnny's, neither she would have the knowledge nor the technology to actually create one. Judy's character arc has always been her interest in BD, as a form of art. As she puts it: "BD's are emotion in near pure form." That's what she is most interested in - creating and sharing with the world BD's which allow people to experience emotions and events in near pure form that they never will otherwise.

As for the rest, about Jackie, Scorpion, Evelyn and the rest - that's not how an engram works. They are all long dead before the story ends, thus creating constructs of them would be impossible, as their conciousness or their souls (depends how you look at it) are long gone. Plus I don't believe neither Panam nor Judy would be alright with the idea of putting someone's soul on a chip -especially dear friend's ones. It just seems completely against their characters.

That's not really plausible because constructs simulated after death are broken and corrupted, e.g., Jackie in Mikoshi, if you don't send his body to Mama Welles. And on top of that, Evelyn got cremated and put into a niche at the Columbarium, which makes it impossible to make a construct of her because you can't extract someone's engram from their ashes (an engram is used to simulate a construct).

Judy could definitely be written to help, just in a very specific way. We know that beyond BD work that her grandfather taught her old tech which is of a similar era as the Relic. A little creativity and some effort can yield the result we all desire!

Wouldn't be so sure about all this. Some time ago I've found this video about potential help from Judy to save V.

Maybe she could've done something with the Relic itself, but the problem is that, after Mikoshi, V is no longer suffering from it, but from the damage the Relic has done to V's body. The way Alt describes it (the body's immune systems attacking its own neurons) makes it sound like it's Multiple Sclerosis, a disease where the body's immune system attacks the brain's nervous system. The only known cure, or well, treatment for this in the game's universe is BioDyne's, which works by injecting nanites into the spinal cord to repair that damaged neural tissue.

So unless Judy somehow already has the knowledge rivaling the scientists and doctors on how the body's immune system, neurology, or biology works, I don't think she can really do anything to treat V after Mikoshi.

She have been cut for the release.

She love tech and all the hacking mind and she would see BD only for a form of art when she learn about the Relic.

I don't think so.

It's like all the inconsistent dialogues with V, that feels unfinished.
I think the Judy's arc should have been more important and as shown in this video, there are clues in this direction.

Or CDPR is just wasteful gonk !!!

I rather they keep Judy's character arc as is and not turn her into some sort of Deus ex machina device. She is great techie and skilled BD editor, but she is an artist first and foremost and I would love to see more of this side of her like in Laguna Bend and during the Information quest where you can see her passion about BD, as an art form shining through. Her involvment can extend with the addition of more brain dance sequences during side quests and such - the BD's investigation parts were great but too few and far between - more with her involvement will always be great, also more interactions between her and V talking about potential BD concepts she had and/or is working on, her motivations, her passions. Getting to see more of her artistic side will be great IMO and of course getting to see more development in her and V's releashionship.

That is true, but CDPR have in essence raised suspicions with Judy's dialogues concerning building/ upgrading her hardware and the pet project(s) that have been shown/ hinted at in her apartment. While I agree that Judy is a BD editor and artist primarily, it's not her only gig and there is evidence in-game that gives some credence to the folks who believe she has the ability to sort out V's problem from a technological standpoint.

The story arc for Judy is perfectly fine as-is, in my humble opinion, well, that and I don't think CDPR would go to the lengths required to adjust the story as it currently exists to accommodate Judy tending to V's tech issues. That said, it does present, if anything, a convenient opportunity for exploring events after Mikoshi, be they more BDs or (building on pre-existing narrative elements) Judy finding a way to ultimately save Valerie's life.

I could go on for ages regarding how she might sort it out, but it would be pure speculation, which I'll refrain from.

So, gang.

Yesterday people started posting some new lines with Panam that were introduced with newest patch. Today I've found on reddit even more stuff for Panam and it looks like it's happening during main story since they talk about Judy and Takemura.

What worries me, nothing for Judy or even Kerry/River comes out. What is great that looks like CDPR is expanding the romance a bit more. What worries me, they're focusing only on Panam atm. I hated what BioWare was doing with Liara in ME trilogy. Her own comic book, her very own DLC, she basically had a plot armor and she was the only companion that couldn't be killed. Compared to her, other love interests had pretty crappy content.

I'm just worried that this is exactly what CDPR is going to do with Panam... sigh.

if they do that, it would mean that he considers male V to be the only important character. judy is almost as popular as Panam. I can understand that Kerry and River are less important because they are not present in the main scenario. But if CDPR doesn't add anything for Judy it'll be silly on their part for FemV ... I can't believe it
