Just remove the cops spawning for now.

Seriously, just patch it out until its fixed. Its so comically bad. Just don't have the police spawn in, keep the drones maybe. Its not worth comically breaking immersion to kill the player over random acts of violence, or what is most of the time, an accident. Its so bad seeing cops spawn right behind you in a dead end hallway with no doors.

Hey fellas,

What happens with the other cars when you stop your car in the middle of the street? Nothing.
What happens when you aim with your gun to someone's driving? Nothing.
What happens when the traffic lights are red? Does not modify any behaviour on the drivers either.

All of these is because, imo, "Driving AI" it's not yet implemented in the game. Also answering your question about police spawning right behind you. I think the only fix, it is to implement all those things that are not implemented yet in the game. Just being patient.

I wouldn't mind to wait a few months until the product is finished, because in my experience, the immersion of the game is being badly affected by this kind of stuff.

Due to this, all those people who was complaining about delays a few months ago, are tcomplaining today about the bugs of the game, or the unfinished state of the product.

Take care guys!

All CDPR developers should have been forced to play Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines over and over again till they knew it by heart. Seriously, in 2004 we had a first person action rpg in a semi open world (technological constraints aside) that delivers such a solid game play experience (combat, mechanics, interactions, crime system, multi-path missions) and that puts CP2077 to shame.

This happened to me during on of the NCPD missions where a grenade only as much as scratched a civilian, and cops started flodding in (while I was actually fighting THEIR enemies). Made me really upset :(

Thats why they should just remove the cops spawning altogether, 90% of the time its an accident not worthy of the entire NCPD coming down on you. Its just so bad.

Not delaying the game again isn't an excuse for a lack AI and pathfinding found in 15 year old games. Thats just bad development planning.

Don't bash on the poor game devs, the decision to release the game is certainly not theirs, share holders wanted to make money real quick before Christmas, its clear the game is totally unfinished product. But I agree, cops should be out of this game right now, I'm trying to play all their missions and I get killed just because of 1 mistake, hurts me so bad that they are mindlessly on you, appear out of nowhere and such.

I could just be finishing up helping the cops, looting and then out of nowhere the cops will say I'm opening fire. When I'm obviously not. xD Also the walking NPCs are so damn stupid; if you have the cybernetic for double jumping, and you double jump in a crowd, every NPC will go nutso. xD

Some random Netrunner and the cops tried to kill me for bumping a civilian with my motorcycle. I got away, but I don't know what was happening there
like I bumped the Mayor or something

full cop spawn in for hitting a ped with car ,not stealing car further they can only chase you on foot . you get in a car drive for 5-15 seconds wanteds gone assuming there not on next corner like on some streets. im fine with them being op they should be lore wise . that being said there lifeless and just a punishment system atm to keep you focused . its sad , open world rpgs on ps2 and xbox did better cops .it needs to be fixed

You realize this doesn't get seen by the actual dev team right? This isn't the actual technical forums for reporting bugs.
no i didnt had thought that that was what technical was for thank you for helping me not waist more time

I would rather have it removed forever.

The game is cyberpunk, a fiction in which police is just little puppet of giant corps, they should be mostly corrupted and only care about protecting those giant corps' assets, not civilian.

in one gig i had to go to highrise skyscrapper to get some shard, i got to balcony and decided to jump nearest building rooftop, but that rooftop didnt have door that would lead me downstairs so either suicide or re-load, but before i did that i took my sniper rifle and started shooting NPC cars from that rooftop and in 2 seconds a squad of police teleported behind me on that rooftop xD
why not call hovercraft like Trauma Team has or drones to attack me on that rooftop xD ?

It definitely gets looked at by someone within CDPR. They take their feedback from a lot of different sources. Even then I'm just giving my opinion.

I would also add that some roads have a big red "ROAD CLOSED" sign displayed on their surface, and yet NPCs drive on the road anyway,
