To force players playing with stealth gameplay what to add in new patch versus statements by factions?
I remember the old game Xenus/Xenus2 (Boiling Point), there's the faction was made as counterparts in each other (almost).
For example in that game:
- partisans fight vs policemans/cia
- druglords hates officials but tried to work with them most of times (same business)
- indians tried to work with official but hate them (originally likes natural products and boosters that is better than pharma ones)
- civilians likes officials but hate druglords and try to work with partisans (civilians most of times gives you discounts anywhere in the cities, if you bad with civilians - they call police if they see you and you must buy goods only on faction bases)
- voodoo guys hate most of factions but has extra powerful tech (in xenus it was overpowered WW1 weapons, you cannot increase voodoo relationships taking quests, but if you attacking civilians for a long time - voodoo could ignore you if they see you or allow you to buy something legendary in their stores)
Whats the idea?
Public killing of person from some faction increases relationship score with one faction and decreases with others. It means somewhere you cant walk near enemies cus of all of them knows you as enemy. Friendly player can do actions on "enemy" territory, even forbidden areas without making alerts or attention.
Following that next patches could contain:
- faction suits to increase relationship for some value until you wear it
- fixers can sell relationship increasing separated by value and price
- quests that you can reach only with bosses of faction and you cannot take that quests until you have enough relationship points
- stealth gameplay doesnt change relationship values until being detected
