I am waiting until the game is fixed on last generation. I won't play until both the January and February patches.

If you think the fixes will be anything besides some bug fixes and crashes on last gen consoles I think you would be very very disappointed.

I doubt you will be getting too many updates either.
Every update Sony charges an arm and leg to the developper to get to the consumer.

I should note I am on a PS4 and powered through more bugs and crashes than all my gaming history combined.

So I'm not sure what you think I'm worried about.

Fixing last generation should be the primary goal because that's where the capital is for motivating future fixes and add-ons.

Fixes will make the game playable on consoles. Any improvements are probably 6 months or so away at least because there is a bunch of stuff to do for the consoles.
