Our tribute to Gary

On Tuesday, 4th of March, died Gary Gygax, a man who was working on creation of the first role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons, as well as many other titles later: AD&D, Dangerous Journeys or Legendary Adventures. Many of us were inspired by his work and made the first steps in a world of fantasy, which turned in time into a real passion. D&D was for us not only a wonderful enterntainment, but also an inspiration during the creation of The Witcher. His passing was a great loss for us, because it was Gary Gygax, who made foundations, on which following RPG titles had been built, not only pen and paper, but also computer RPGs. Despite of the fact, that RPG games have changed greatly, The Witcher owes a lot to this exceptional man. Thank you Gary, you won't be forgotten.

Worlds of Greyhawk, xeroxed folded and staple in a ziplock bag started me down my RPG path almost 30 yrs ago.He will be missed.

Death may take away a person we appricate and loved much but never the reminiscence we have of Gary Gygax.R.I.P.

Reading the TrollBoard forums put tears in my eyes that I had been trying to hold back when I heard the news. There are many, many webcomic tributes to this many who brought the best legends to the North American Continent:http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0536.htmlhttp://nodwick.humor.gamespy.com/Images/areyousure.jpghttp://vault.ign.com/static.php?page=RIP_Gary_Gygaxhttp://archive.gamespy.com/comics/dorktower/images/comics/dorktower625.gifhttp://www.penny-arcade.com/images/2008/20080304.jpghttp://ps238principal.livejournal.com/54486.htmlhttp://nodwick.humor.gamespy.com/ffn/strips/2008-03-04.jpghttp://youtube.com/watch?v=hxo9gFBHJsE

There probably aren't many ppl alive that had such an impact with their creation on the things i like and love today,as this man had.Rest in peace.

it was good that he at least saw his legacy bloom all over the world, to know that there will always be storytellers and adventures.Later Days.

And lets not forget during our weekend sorties into the inns of the world to raise a tankard of ale in his honour
