Regarding key mapping problems, go to options and revert all settings to default and you will be fine... Dont know why people cant figure that out by themselves.

maybe coz people have they own bindings and they don’t want to break everything because devs can’t install a single patch without new bugs in three years. Btw its not help with Rayfield problem.
Plus this does not work (even more on azerty setup). Only another "smart" being that knows better than everybody...

Why is it, whenever you lot release a patch for the game, you break something basic or make some really stupid decisions?

The stupid:
When portable radio was introduced, someone thought the key should be the same as the notifications key, "Z". So, whenever a progression notice appeared, the radio would toggle. Why?!?
(And before anyone accuses me of stupidly setting that... you can't. The game will clear conflicting keys while also prompting you that there is a conflict.)

The broken:
Prior to 2.11, I changed the portable radio key to "\" to avoid the notice key "Z" conflict.
After the 2.11 patch installed, I loaded up my latest save and finished the mission I was on. Got a progression notice and hit "Z"... and the radio popped on (at full volume, too!). WTF?!?

Sure enough, the key prompt in the HUD for the radio was showing the "Z" key again, suggesting it had been reset. Why?

So I head into the Key Bindings menu... and the radio key binding is actually showing as my chosen setting: "\". WTF?

I changed the key to "Z" and saw the conflict warning and then the notification key was cleared, so I know it's being detected/handled by the game. Then I set the keys how I want: radio "\", notifications "Z".

Return to the game and... radio still shows as "Z" on the HUD and will NOT respond to my set key of "\". I've had to switch notifications to "\" just to avoid the stupid "radio toggle on notification" idiocy.

FFS.

I shudder to think what other broken things I will encounter with this new patch.

Without them game was to fun, especially for me who had first play-through month after initial release.

And now serious. how to revert?

I started to get very annoying micro-freezes, before patch I was able to play on ultra.
Now it is freezing as hell!.

What I did so far in order to fix:
-removed all the mods from game folder
-turned off mods loading from RED launcher
-checked integrity of game files
-restarted PC

Noone of that helped
And this game was my best place to relax from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anxiety from this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ world

I wish to play with max doc bug, with constant need of pressing Z in scanner mode to see enemy info - but without those freezes

Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable) 6000 MHz
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
 
Added a Hybrid CPU Utilization setting, which can be found under Gameplay → Performance.

Is it normal to not see this option after applying the update? I don't see it either from the main menu or from the in-game menu. Only the HDD Mode option is under 'Performance'.

Workaround to fix key mapping :

/!\ Warning /!\ BACKUP YOUR CONF FILE Before touch it, I'm not responsible for any kind of unplayable games after modification.
It has working for me.

1. In your install folder find the file \r6\config\inputUserMappings.xml
2. Copy it for backup
3. Edit with a notepad
4. Find the entry

<mapping name="PocketRadio_Button" type="Button" >
<button id="IK_Pad_DigitLeft" />
<button id="IK_Z" overridableUI="pocketRadio" />
</mapping>

Replace IK_Z by an other key like U so IK_U

Save and close the file, you can launch the game.

Default or not, the hardcoded keybinds are in conflict with a azerty keyboard.
 
OK it might have been fixed after all, I had just forgotten at lower levels it was not guaranteed. With blue I found out results, now purple/rare and it seems to be working.
... And no - now certain Sonic Shock still does not work. Tried too many times the old Sonic Shock-Short Circuit combo and every time now I get traced.
 
Bug fixes are good, but what about the New Game+ ?? Why should I start over and over again and lose all my findings? What's the point of adding collective Easter eggs and references if they disappear with every new character?

Huge part of your marketing was the statement regarding "mission variety". So I want to go through the game again with all my acquired skills and items in a different way.

If in the prologue it is difficult to explain the presence of already installed implants, then let NG+ begin immediately after it. You made NG+ for The Witcher, why can’t it be done with Cyberpunk? We are ready for some compromises so as not to break the thread of the narrative. But do this NG+ already.

You know that Memory Wipe is supposed to do what Sonic Shock did but in a legit way ?

I can perfectly play my stealth netrunner with Memory Wipe T4, if you want even more you can use the intended stealth Cyberdeck, the Arasaka one which add a cool pressure mecanic with the trace progress AND a reduced Memory Wipe cost, which drop the T4 to 8 ram cost instead of 10.

Sonic Shock never had any description related to trace progress, Memory Wipe had.

They've already explained why they're not adding New Game +. Let it go
 
The game completely deleted the “Lizzie” tech pistol from my inventory and I couldn’t tell you where it went. Nothing in my inventory and it didn’t end up in my stash.

Now there is a mode to skip the entire Act 1 to be more or less prepared to survive in the game, and if you want to do it from the beginning there are farm spots in Watson where you can level up easily (northeastern corner of the district where there are groups of Maelstrom gangoons).
 
Did I overlook it, or is the sonic shock glitch not included in the patch? If it's not a glitch but an intended change then the game is officially ruined for me. There's absolutely no point in even attempting quick hacking if I'm going to be traced every time. I'll just play it on xbox one x in that case.
 
Anyone have a comprehensive list of features they said they weren't planning to add and have since added? Metro comes to mind.

They didn't say that they're not adding it. They only ever said that it's difficult and it's not a priority. That still leaves the possibility open. I've seen people b*tching about way smaller and more insignificant stuff. What's wrong with people asking for something they really want?
