Quick question about "Swallow potion"

Add 8 strength to a non-gold unit or 12 strength to a Witcher-unit.

From my understanding I should be able to buff my golden Geralt card with this one because he's a Witcher. When I tried to do so (in a practice match) it did not work and I could only buff a non-gold card by 8 strength.
Am I getting something wrong here?

Check the description of the card, only non gold units, Geralt is gold, you'd need to make Geralt silver with another card in order to make it work on him.

The description can definitely be more specific, how many potion/Geralt questions are there already?

actually it says either a non gold card OR a witcher card. About an hour after I have created this topic I have found a similar question where there has been stated that this is about to change. (not sure if the effect or the description will change)
