Snowdrop: Are the 2 shuffled cards really shuffled?

Snowdrop: Draw 2 cards, then shuffle 2 cards back to your deck.


I can't help but wonder if the 2 cards drawn are really being shuffled back into the deck, or just being dropped on the top.

For example, if I get the chance to play Snowdrop and then Birna Bran, the 2 cards drawn by Birna are almost always the same 2 that Snowdrop apparently 'shuffled' back into the deck.
If, after playing Snowdrop, I feel it best to Pass the rest of the round, the first 2 cards drawn at the beginning of the next round are invariable the 2 cards Snowdrop 'shuffled' back into the deck.

If it just me, or is anyone else experiencing this?

Just you being unlucky I guess I played a lot with Snowdrop in discard Decks and it maybe very rarely happened (i can't even remember if it actually ever happened to me) that I would instantly redraw those Cards shuffled back by Snowdrop.
