After more than 450 hours of game play I've seen all the endings except this newest one. No idea who wrote the Casino ending in which V commits suicide, but that is without question the dumbest cop out I've seen in game play since N7! It is not even remotely possible that this should have been considered! Dropping that kind of ending on it after everything he had already gone through in game was a very lazy writers means of creating an ending...bad form! I would have rather seen him destroy the space station as that was his contract and at least then he could have gone out as a true Legend of Night City instead of the pussy taking the cowards way out! WTF?!!!

Lol, I think there are lot of players who think that the gas jets who get out the space suit are "oxygen leak"... which are not indeed
In fact, it's simply the "propulsion" system of the suit. The only one available on all space suits... propulse pressurized gas in one direction to go in the opposite way^^.

No, there is just only player who never tried the sun ending before and does not know how movement in space works.

That's no new, ending. This the ending you reach if you either follow Johnny's suggestion and ask Rogue for help or do the suicide run and survive. It is an ending which existed from the beginning.
And no, that's not a suicide. That's how movement in space work. You use gas for acceleration, decceleration, turning etc. If you have nothing like this, you would just constantly float in one direction.

There's a new ending??

According to some out there, there is allegedly a new ending in which Johnny Silverhand goes solo against Arasaka. Supposedly, when you get to the question on Misty's roof of either taking the meds and giving the reigns to Johnny, Eating a bullet from his gun and ending it all then and there or taking the poison. If you make no decision for 5 minutes while having a 70% progress on the Johnny relationship, then Johnny is supposed to offer up this Solo Plan that you only get one crack at completing for their newest grand finale. Personally I have not yet seen this one actually play out so not sure if its just bullshit or not, but this ending totally blows! Checkout the New Secret Ending here:

It's not Johnny technically. The way it plays out is instead of calling Rogue, or Panam, it's just you, with Johnny still in your head, against Arasaka. It's not new.

First you select Letting Johnny and Rogue go for it. Then pops up the 3 choices that you DON'T make for 5 minutes. Then Johnny pops up with a new ending and yes it's totally new. Watch the video.

In either case, New Ending or not, my point is why the fuck turn V into a damn pussy at the very end when they have you thinking its a new mission on a space station? Just stupid to write that in and let down the gamer who actually believes we're off on another adventure? Duuumb Dumb Dumb as a box of rocks!

People commit suicide in real life for lesser reason than having a chip in the brain that fucks everything up so whats so wrong about this in this game?

This ending is named "Don't Fear The Reaper" or as some named it, "Secret" Ending. In the game since the release
An assault alone, against Arasaka Tower (with only Johnny as "help") with only one "life". A death lead to the end credits...

Unless I'm missing something here there is no new ending and there seems to be some confusion...


The "Suicide Ending" and the "Space ending" are Different many people have even speculated that assuming the "Space Ending" is the "real" one that some DLC/first big expansion, may involve the space Casino Heist taking place after the main game, V most certainty does not die in that ending. It is left open ended like basically every ending except the suicide one.

That's onyl your opinion.
The game is about V and V's struggle for survival. But it is also about Johnny Silverhand and his fate after being mowed down casually by Adam Smasher during the Fall of the Towers. (Johnny never was Adam Smasher's arch-nemesis, Morgan Blackhand was.) And it is also about Arasaka and their plans.
And the game clearly fits into the Cyberpunk genre, not because of the existence of cyberware or the distopian future, but because of the story of the game.

As I said, I had achieved 70% with JS prior to entering this phase of the game and later learned that was not necessary to get the Space Ending. Yet after 5 minutes of waiting, 6 minutes of waiting, hell 10 minutes! Nothing happens. No Space Ending initiates and all I keep getting is the suicide ending. NO! It's not Space Suit Jets you see and if it is the animator needs to watch several videos on how they work because you do not see the actual jet vapor cloud ahead of the direction the user is moving. Too forensic a view? Perhaps. But in a gaming world that has been gravitating more and more towards space sims and the like, realism is key. This actually looks like the air in the suit escaping not some propellant pushing V forward!

The secret ending is unlocked using very specific dialogue choices in the sequence when you visit Johnny's grave. If you do not make the right dialogue choices, the secret ending is not available.

As for space suit jets, yes it's getting a bit nitpicky. But in any event since there is no friction in space you also need jets ahead of you to slow down.

The "space ending" as you like to name it, it's the "Path Of Glory" or "The Sun" ending > Endings
The "hidden"/"Secret" ending is named "Don't Fear The Reaper" which could also lead to the space in function of the choice that you make in Mikoshi... Anyway, in this ending, you "simply" assault Arasaka Tower alone, nothing more... After you can choose to let the body to Johnny (The Temperance) or to return in your body (The Sun).

You can "think" whatever you want, it's the propulsion system of the space suit, for sure
Even if you want to go in one direction, you need gas jets in all three axes (dimensions), more or less important in function where you want to go, to avoid to turn in circle or turn on yourself...

As you can see on my screenshots, surprisingly, your "leaks" are at the exact position of the output conducts... what a damn coincidence

It seems that the OP never ever considered asking Rogue for help or even did her storyline.
