The defining of Mr. Blue-eyed and Songbird. Another approach.

Intro.
There has already been quite a lot of speculation about who the mysterious Mr Blue-Eyed in Cyberpunk might be.

Most versions agree that Mr. Blue-Eyed is either an AI version of Richard Night, the founder of the Night Corporation and secret lord of Night City, or Night himself in the flesh, himself or with the help of his proxies controlling the city he created.
Without disputing this theory, which is already generally accepted and has gone beyond mere conspiracy, let's look at the mysterious character from a different angle.

Let's look at one famous video:

While looking for a game to play, I came across this short intreview by P.Sasko, and taking his words as advice, or as a guide to action, I plunged into a whole line of dark vampire games, united by the common name Vampires - the Masquerade.
Of course, I may now be rebuked for committing a crime by bringing lore from another universe into the Cyberpunk forum. But guys, hey, in its time Cyberpunk itself became popular in part because it overlapped several target audience groups at once: The Edgerunners' and Cyberpunk fans, not to mention fans of Pondsmith's talent and his board game studio, as well as Gibson readers.
Hopefully the credibility of the guy in the video praising Bloodlines will keep me from criticising.
Oh, and anyway, I like to commit crimes ).

In general, the data we were interested in was found in the game Vampires: The Masquerade. Coteries of New York.
In the game, if when you create a base character, you choose to play as a corpo girl, you are Embraced (i.e. turned into a vampire) by a mysterious corpo, who later turns out to be a high-born vampire from the Ventrue clan, known for their sophistication, intrigue, and lust for power over mortals and other Kingred vampires, as they call themselves.
And what follows are screenshots, which I know you'll just adore me for:

Unfortunately, The Coteries of New York ends before our search for Mr Blue-Eyed ends - he manages to disappear again. In the game, a corporate girl (with the name Vee, in my case, gets hooked by an old Italian vampire from New York named Thomas Arturo, and doesn't have the strength or ability to escape the trap, her sire dies, and Blue-Eyed disappears from sight). Nevertheless, we have a basic premise:
Mr Blue-Eyed is a high-born vampire of the New York Camarilla, of the Ventrue clan, who has survived the rise and fall of his Empire and returned to action plus or minus 100 years later in the age of cyberpunk modernity, creating a new city to replace his native New York, which he was forced to abandon for whatever reason. The direct political influence of both him personally and the Camarilla as a whole had waned, and he had to resort to other methods of influencing the minds and destinies of mortals, like finding new ways to feed himself.
And so he created Night City.

Songbird say it's a proxy, and I think, Reed and Myers know more about him, or at least his goal, for who or what he works. Reed doesn't seems that much surprised about Songbird going to the Moon.

Songbird say it's a proxy
Did she? I found this video:
where she says "Proxy showed up". But that's not what many theories were about; they were about him being a "net proxy" - the body being controlled by someone else.

I think that the whole mystery either cannot be solved (there's not enough information) or is hidden by abstraction players haven't grasped yet. Stuff like the whole Garry's quest, the Maelstrom quest with Queen Lilith, evidence from Peralez's quest,...
I found the first case more probable. Patrick Mills even said something like "the mystery goes on but V's part in it is over". The quest was designed like this on purpose...

From a more materialistic point of view, data miners haven't found anything. Sure, some clues may lead outside the game (ARG), but that would be too complicated.

Based on what's in the game, my opinion is that whoever MR. Blue Eyes is and whoever he works with, they are yet seeking influence (brainwashing Peralez, taking Songbird to the Moon), but still weak and should be easily traceable (low-tech antennas, spying from cars, having communication on laptops, they even contacted Peralez's wife and V), if someone made an effort.

My theory: we don't have any info about him because he is a teaser for the Cyberpunk Orion and "the Sun" is the canon ending (probably with "King of Wands" being canon in Phantom Liberty, because both include Mr Blue Eyes). If we play V again in Orion of course.

Maybe Mr Blue Eyes is tied to Orion corporation, if it still exist in 2077. But i don't really know the Lore of Cyberpunk well before the game tbh.

Yeah, the variant dialogues with So Mi on this topic speaks to that too:

I personally think that the simple methods of ‘discover something new’ in Cyberpunk have approached their limit. )
You have to improvise and try to involve more complex, indirect methodology. ;)

Let's keep theorising.
Let's get the "other end of the stick". We know that Songbird is from New York. Mr Blue-Eyed, in this description, is, too. Let's say he's a Ventrue vampire from the New York Camarilla.

Theoretically, they could have known each other back when So Mi was committing crimes on the streets of Big Apple, and this could explain their later interaction in Cyberpunk and the help that Blue-Eyed agreed to give her (as a fellow countryman).

So, the question: What about Songbird? Could she be a vampire as well?
If she's a vampire, and a vampire from New York, then she must belong to the Camarilla (or the Anarchs, but that doesn't matter to me - the Anarchs are part of the Camarilla too, just separate and specific).
But then: To what clan how could she belong?
Unexpectedly, Cyberpunk may provide an answer to this question.
In the So Mi housing block in New York, among other interesting things, one finds a home altar for magical rituals with a bowl for offerings, and a portrait of a deity (demon) on the wall.

This is Tengu, a warrior-turned-demon from predominantly Japanese (but also Korean) folklore.

Can we find a clan, from the streets of New York, associated with the Tengu Crows in a long line of vampire games?
We can. That's what they call themselves: Ravnos, the Ravens.

...If any clan is known for its cruel black sense of humour, it is the Ravnos (Nickname: Deceivers) These Cainites are the ultimate deceivers, weaving illusions and lies into complex constructs designed to take from fools what the Ravnos want, be it wealth, blood, or even the freedom of the victim. Like Mephistopheles or the Devil, the Ravnos make their diabolical deals with whomever they choose, be it human or Kindred, and woe to those who prove unable to pay the secret price.
Ravnos are vagabonds to their core, and care little for permanent shelters or position in the city's established power structure. Even those who choose to stay in a particular city tend to set up and leave shelters according to their moods, settling where they like, doing what they feel like doing and moving on as soon as they get bored. Ravnos doesn't usually have allies he can rely on all the time. His charm can provide him with temporary companions, and clan cohesion in times of need can draw fellow Ravnos to his side, but overall the vampire's path remains a lonely one.
Sect: Ravnos go where they want to go and deal with who they want to deal with, and let the sects go to hell.
Appearance: Many young Western Ravnos are of Gypsy descent, usually swarthy, dark-haired and dark-eyed. Slightly rarer are those of Asian, African or Nordic appearance, and even rarer are those without a hint of gypsy blood. The eastern half of the clan is predominantly of Indian descent, though members have turned promising men and women from other nations. Like their western counterparts, they favour bright and beautiful clothing and like to hone their charm in public. Ravnos are vagabonds by nature; even their eastern descendants feel wanderlust from time to time. Clan members often travel in wagons or carriages, finding shelter wherever they can. Weaknesses: Ravnos have indulged their vices for so long that they have become addicted to them. Each Ravnos has a weakness for one form of fraud, deceit, or harm, be it gambling, lying, stealing, blackmail, or even cleverly staged murder.
Organisation: Most Ravnos trust no one, not even their own co-clansmen, but work together to cheat, steal, or crush an alien enemy when necessary. They often make stunning oaths of familial loyalty to each other, though neither party expects much from the vows...

Quote : "If I stole the sun, I wouldn't give it to people to warm them. I'd drown it in the ocean and start buying up people's souls by making fire with it."

Well, it's up to you guys to decide... :)

Looking ahead, I will say that if-(if!) this approach to the definition of Mr. Blue-Eyed is justified, it will reveal very interesting details of how exactly the work inside the “Night Corp” can be organized, and we get this information even regardless of the plot of “Cyberpunk”.

"...Just a bunch of ghouls and whatnot. Hard-working. Conditioned. Tireless. Low maintenance. Kinda dumb. Perfect workers.."
Oh, how I love it! Vampires know how to hurt, but even vampires get hurt sometimes! :D

Look, guys, Isn't it interesting to theorize sometimes? :)
