Hi, my saves are all made with Version 2.11. Since I updated the game, loading any save causes the game to fully load , but then crash to desktop when I press space to start. I did manage to get the game to load once, but it crashed within a minute. I just get the "Woah, Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined" message so no specific error code, and I don't get any feedback from sending the report.
Can someone help me? I really don't want all my save files to be dead.
Are you using any mods on these saves? If so, are they all up to date? Patches will break your mods, which in turn, breaks your game/saves.
Did you change any keybinding? Patch 2.11 introduced issues with keybinding that are apparently fixed in 2.12 but based on some posts in the 2.12 thread, that's not necessarily true. Try reverting back to default keys before loading your save if you changed your keybindings.

No to mods, but yes to keybinding. I will give that a go thanks.

Okay, resetting keybindings changes things, but not for the better. Now the game crashes immediately as soon as I click load.
Edit again: wait, that might have worked! It crashed the first couple of times, but now It's loaded me in! Any idea if I can change my keybindings back to how I had them without causing more issues? I have some mobility limitations with my left hand.

Unfortunately, I can't answer that. I'm fine with the default control myself so I never changed them and I am not at home and cannot try this at the moment.
From what I understand from here and other places, it seems a bit hit&miss on that fix. In other words, some changes don't seem to cause crashes while others do but there are a lot of contradictions from what I can see.
I'd say give it a try. Try modifying as little as you absolutely need and see what happens. I'd say change them after loading into the game and see what happens. If it doesn't crash, go back to main menu and try loading back in. If it works, awesome, if it doesn't then this is something to send to CDPR via here:
