I never knew until seeing this that Namco had a patent for interactive loading screens since 20 years and I went wtf.

This makes me wonder, isn't there any sensible law or guideline for patenting? :/

TIL that video game developers weren't just lazy the last 20 years.

On topic gwent is a wee bit too long for a loading screen, even without an ssd. I would suggest a game of pairs with the cards from Witcher 1. :nice:

Though everything would be better than Dandelion's incantation of Geralt's adventure or tips from Bethesda like "Radroaches are little buggers that roam the waste - better shoot them with a gun."
