FBC are a must have for me. As for balancing the game increase the chance of cyber psychosis to 75% add a massive penalty to persuasion option switch out dialogue to reflect your new passion for calling everyone a meatbag and have NPC avoid you like you have the plague. while NPC that are heavily augmented are more accepting of their new brother or sister.
Perhaps they could make it a series of sub quest for joining a gang/cult/faction with the ultimate reward being a FBC. You might have to be violent towards fleshie, but who cares they’re just meatbags

That's kinda... extreme, ain't it? Like, penalties outweighing the benefits. What kinda games you in, that stuff like that would make FBC's balanced - Gemini shells with Dragoon stats?

I really hope they don't skimp on the purely cosmetic cyberware. I always felt that while its important to kick ass, you have to look good doing it!

I loved the idea of those arms, but I hated the implementation...
The problem was, that the blades were just too damn long... every time they popped out I just groaned...As cool as the animations were, it just killed me they were longer, by a good portion, than his forearms...

Because 99% of the time yours is a minority which contributes nothing but badly made, and in bad taste, porn. You don't want this to be included to somehow enhance the gameplay, to give depth to the story or anything like that. You just want to live out your masturbation fantasies and not have to wear the carpet in order to get that feeling.
I say exotics aren't a bad idea. Not only opens up a bigger audience that were fans of 2020, but you're forgetting two of the most important rules.

I find it kind of insulting that some of the forum members here just jump at furries/scalies whatnot based on their experience with a majority of a minority. Not all of us are sex-addicted introverts. We're here for the same reason you are: for some fucking cyberpunk.

I'm all for exotics. I probably would never use them on one of my toons personally, but I don't think having more style options is a bad thing. Plus as npc's they'll add to the atmosphere of a "decadent future."
