is there a cheating mechanism?

Or can someone explain to me how Skellige player could use Shani card? I have not even got it into a hand, it was just sitting in my deck, then SK player used it. How? Impossible.
The same player used the Ciri::dash card, with the value of 25, during the third round, despite the fact that Ciri:dash card was not being used during previous rounds 1 and 2. Even more impossible.

for shani , the link above should give you all the info you need. For Ciri-dash, you gave the explanation yourself. Ciri dash is a card that go back to your deck with +3 point strength every time she enters the graveyard. A discard deck is a deck that put cards from the hand or deck (depending of the card) into the graveyard. Meaning, every time ciri dash is discarded, she entered the graveyard. If she wasn't played once yet was at 24 strength, this means that it was discarded 5 times during the game. One of those discard was definitely Johnny, and he got Shani that way at that precise moment.
