Nope. I assume its just the interface changing language, there is an option in settings that changes between English - Polish, perhaps reselect English and save?

Yeah did that only. It happened on it's own, I was wondering how that happened. As I said no biggie

So, signatures only apply to new posts, not old ones. I assume therefore when you change your signature, the old one stays on all the posts where it was previously used.

Edit: I had to click the new "Terms and Services" checkbox today, even though I clicked it yesterday. I am going to have to remember to check this box everytime I log in from now on?

Nope, it is updated in all of your posts when you change it.

You only need to check the box titled "show your signature", which might have been unchecked in your older posts.
If you want the signature to show up below them, you can always edit the post and check the box in retrospective.

:)

Jesus wept, what a trainwreck this update/data migration is. Not only do I need to provide my "parent's email", my join date is Jan 1970.

Interesting historical fact:
Back in 1970, the CDPR forum consisted of carrier doves which brought letters back and forth between members.

Is it my imagination, or when I sign out am I leaving a ghost behind ? Seems like it.

Theres some occasional bug when editing a post, i've replicated it but never grab the transition screen in time. At the very top an error says something about variables. The edit still reposts though.

and the migration has been smooth as silk for me, and I had all three previous accounts to merge... trainwreck it certainly is not, not even close, not even in the same epoch.

Thats what made me think of it :p

reverting to unix time default is a constant problem with tech, it's nothing new, it may be odd and difficult to track down, but merging DB's is potentially fraught with problems

Well, I am a programmer myself and while I understand that converting user groups and such may be problematic, I can't see how they could have possibly lose registration dates. Both the previous forum system and vBulletin store users' join dates in the database so it should be pretty straightforward to convert them.

Probably it was problem with previous migration, I remember some issues with 1970 registration date on previous forum. So I suppose it got lost then, in 2011.

Ah, that makes sense. I don't post much on this forum (but i'm a witcher wh*re nonetheless) so it may be that my join date was also wrong on the previous software.

While I don't quite recall the exact join date I had on the previous forum, I'm sure it was not 1970.

Or perhaps it was in the database, and only the forum script rendered it as something from XXI century.

The 1970 date is pretty common on internet among forum boards :comeatmebro:

EDIT: And hmm, wanted to use the Fast Reply option, writing what you see above and when "Post Quick Reply" gave me the warning I should get if I wanted to leave this page. Take a loot at that, it's not suppose to give that warning on submit input.

Having technical issues with Redkit and Thewitcher.com webside!

Hei there! I've been having some technical issues with the WEBSITES (not with the forums) since the new forums came out.

This only happens so far on the following places:

http://redkit.cdprojektred.com/
http://thewitcher.com/witcher3/
http://thewitcher.com/witcher1/
http://thewitcher.com/witcher2/
http://thewitcher.com/support/

Other than those places everything else works just fine:
All 3 forums
http://cyberpunk.net/
http://thewitcher.com/adventuregame/
http://cdpred.com/

Here some example of the issues :

*When you first enter thewitcher.com , there is a video that auto-plays itself, the video woks fine but the entire orange "bar" over the video with the X to close it, is gone, i can still click on where the X was and it closes the video, but its not visible.

* On thewitcher.com where it explains about the game world and the features: ("Unique, intuitive combat system blending a wide range of tactical elements with the most spectacular and dynamic combat sequences ever seen in a computer role-playing game") , all the pictures are gone, there is only the different white texts.

*On Redkit there is text and contextual objects over each other all over the place, specially where it says:

"Getting Started : The REDkit is the best way to craft big & living worlds – shape environments using intuitive tools and
adapt them to your needs
!!"

the previous text overlays(lays on top of it) the following :

"Redkit includes(and text saying what it includes) ; Modders(and text saying stuff what it offers for modders) ; Gamers(and text saying what it offers for gamers)"

Here some screens:

---------------------------------------------------
The issue with the Redkit page is old(pre-new forum), the issue with the Witcher.com website however is new(post-new forums)

I first tought it was a problem with my explorer (google chrome), but used internet explorer and the issue was still there, i logged in from a different PC and it all worked fine, so it seems to be a problem of my PC lacking a certain plug-in or update for something?!

Thanks in advance!
