So they're likely implemented in the game already.

True, but I doubt that they will work on both engines simultaneously. As I have stated here previously, CDPR is not just using UE5 but also working together with Epic to enhance it. Given that this kind of work is done by specialists they won't be able to continue creating new iterations of the RED Engine. They could very well work on UE5 games while also developing games on REDengine 4 or it's next iteration if they felt like it. It's highly, HIGHLY unlikely but they didn't sign their autonomy away.

In regards to 1.7 and PL I find it very likely now that both will be released at the same time.
Exactly, in fact they are already creating plugins for UE 5.1:True, but I doubt that they will work on both engines simultaneously. So, I wonder if 1.7 comes out in March, which is around their 2022 year wrap up. This is also when they announce PL's release date and price for mid-April-early May. They'll have their Q1 wrap on May 29th. If PL is really towards the end of production as they say it does.
Could be an old pic...I really don't want to wait for another playthrough. lolI will say I was thinking Q1 or Q2 for Phantom Liberty - was pretty much sold on it. But I am starting to think 1.7 comes out with some of the teased features like vehicle combat, melee overhaul and stuff like that.
But starting to think the expansion is going to be Q3 or Q4. To avoid spoilers - I say that because a few days ago a certain person posted a picture of themself doing motion capture and I think it is safe to assume it is for Phantom Liberty. If that actually happened on the day it was posted that is... interesting.
They said they were in the final stages of development. But motion capture doesn't seem like a final stage type of thing (though I am not a dev, so maybe it is). Makes me wonder if they decided to beef the expansion up even more or something.
it sounds weird, where did this come from? Since I haven't seen similar leaks anywhere, there was a similar PR for a Polish adult actress who was photographed with a "Witcher" poster, and everyone picked it upBut starting to think the expansion is going to be Q3 or Q4. The DLSS3 update for this game, and today's update for TW3, doesn't instill much confidence...
CohhCarnage, who is apparently a streamer and played "Garry the Profit" in Cyberpunk 2077 was snapped in motion capture gear. Multiple CDPR employees liked the post, which went up in late January.
You sure it wasn't a bts pic of a old photo, because if it was for PL, I would think that would be under NDA.
3/4/23 either an announcement or the update/expansion drops
The best part is he's right, but it's an announcement for the limited edition 2077 lunch box. It's just random numbers... plus they would want to shout it too the roof tops. Not hide the release date on some music thing.
I have that intuition from the beginning, next month patch 1.7 and new news about the expansion. I hope it comes out in October, with everything very stable and very tested. I honestly don't want the expansion before the last quarter of the year. Red Engine needs a lot of affection so as not to do mischief.I will say I was thinking Q1 or Q2 for Phantom Liberty - was pretty much sold on it. We started to look like Tom Hank in the code da vin ci. We see riddles everywhere3/4/23 either an announcement or the update/expansion drops
October is really too long, it would be right to release in the summer when there are almost no releases, 3 years for the development of DLC is really too much, one more year will be a full development of the main gameWe do not know the scope of the expansion. We can be facing great development work. In addition, we already see that Red Engine is whimsical and having more time is a good ally, I would love for the expansion to come out in its best possible version. I insist in October because for me it is a guarantee of quality, I think it will be a second great main story. It was said first quarter, that's impossible. Leaving the patch in March needs support and for the expansion to come out in May they would have to have practically finished the work. I don't think so.
