Any program to open .dlg files?

I got a program to extract .bif file types so that I could edit the dialogues manually. Now I need to extract from the .dlg files to get to the dialogues. Anyone know how?------------Alright I found a program to do what I needed. Here's the link if anyone else had the same question: http://iamtk102.googlepages.com/Specifically: http://iamtk102.googlepages.com/kgff_130.zipYou need unBif to extract from the .bif though.http://csimbi.googlepages.com/unbif-------------------I don't understand. I found out how to edit the dialog but sometimes the dialog displayed via the in-game subtitles is simply "EMPTY" rarther than what I actually typed in. Other times it is changed to what I updated it to be. Does anyone know why this happens? Here's an example:http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/3272/exampletu3.jpgI integrated your three posts into one. Please use "Modify" option if you want to add something to an existing post.

I suggest you should wait for the release of the Djinni. It will allow you to edit dialogs in a very simple way and shouldn't cause any problems of that sort.

Obviously that would be ideal, but I am trying to get a head start if I can. I've been holding off playing this game until I can get the subtitles fixed to my liking. I use the Polish voices so the readable text stands out more than ever.Any idea on how much longer we will have to wait?

The NWN 2 Toolset, included with NWN2,Will, allough it is limited, be able to veiw or modify files.First unpack the dialogues00.bifSecond add these files (Or just the ones you wish to modify) to a .Zip compressed folder.Third in the NWN2 Data folder (Where all the .zip files are for NWN2) find the file convo.zip, move that file to a safe place. Forth take the Witcher Dilalougues that you add to the commpressed archive, rename that archive convo.zip, and move it to the NWN2, Data FolderLastly Open the toolset, under the Files tab you will be able to open the conversation (as I believe they are refered to by the editor) files. There are some launguge issues, you might have to set the launguge as french, or italian to read/modify the english text

Oh thanks. I've been using some work arounds but this seems easier. The only thing is I don't know how to load up the conversation in Italian as the default language (which is the Final_English short for The Witcher). Anyway to do that?

The .dlg files contain the info for most if not all of the launguges, so I beleive the issue is with the NWN2 Toolset. It could be that the .dlg files are newer then the toolset, or it might have something to do with the native launguge of the toolset. Or it could just be a compatablilty issue, since it really wasn't made to edit them.

Yeah that's fine. I was just wondering if there was a way to get the NWN2 toolset to display the Italian language instead of English so that way I don't have to change the language every time I open a file.Every time I try to save the conversation it cause an error and doesn't save. Anyone else able to save?
