Confirmed: Alvin is the Grand Master
So I think this can finally be confirmed. Most people had already figured that much, but it was never truly confirmed.
In one of the side quests in Novigrad (Message from an Old Friend), Geralt goes into a book store. The shop keeper says that there is a book that was left for him with a red cover and a letter in it. The book is called My Manifesto and is about Jacques de Aldersberg. The book explains how he kind of just popped out of nowhere and such (Alvin was pretty much TW1's version of Ciri). The letter inside speaks about the terrible things which he had seen in the future (Ithlinne prophecy) and his vision to create ubermen (the mutated men he had tried to create) to save humanity. At the end it was signed "A". Can't get more clear than that.
On a side note, it would be neat if the player imported a save from TW1 and romanced Triss in TW1 & TW3, if Geralt could bring this up to her.
