Does the sword calculate all the damage it will do before any damage is dealt or after the first 5 damage is dealt? It makes a difference when targeting units with a shield. Because if it calculates before, then shield is not relevant and it can kill Donimir and a Ciri: Nova boosted to 11-14 power.
If it calculates after, then the first 5 damage removes a status from the unit, which means it wouldn’t deal an extra 5 damage because the unit lost the shield status after the first 5 damage.
