Freezing in game on menus

My Enhanced copy of the witcher keeps freezing on me when I open up menus ie. inventory or sale screens from various npcs. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm running the game on HIGH and it's very smooth and crisp except for this problem :-\

No one else is having this problem? It's even freezing on the main screen now before I even get a chance to load my game :-[

I've got a similar problem, but that's just random crashes when I open up the inventory. I believe I had that problem even before the EE.New with EE is that it crashes in the menus sometimes too. Do your game freeze randomly or every time you open an inventory?
