If you've finished the teaser (and you've finished it, haven't you?) then you know we have another big announcement. Project Eternity is now officially known as Pillars of Eternity. In addition to that, we have a nifty new logo courtesy of Kaz:

Through the hard work of the Project Eternity team we are proud to present our first in-game teaser trailer.

And coming in 2014 already.

Ah, @richmondster, this isn't a commercial advertising site and it -is- a Cyberpunk site, which pertains to few if any of your projects. You just showed up here and it's mostly to sell something? Going to go ahead and say no, at least not for now.

Actually I think this is the right topic unless there's some rule for indies and crowdfunding stuff. We did have a whole thread about a single project from some french guys before (ama's lullaby).

Members of the forums are welcome to discuss other games if they think they're likely to be of interest to other members. When the game concerned is on kickstarter, that will often mean that we get the odd commercial site link. This thread is an example of it, and it's perfectly OK.

But when someone joins the forums and almost immediately posts a list of half a dozen of their own commercial game projects, none of which are obviously relevant to this forum, in two separate threads, we take a slightly different view about it.

Yup, there's been some deletions.

And yes, there's a rule about it. We don't want to apply the rule indiscriminately, but it is there...

the charm of stalker was exploring a soviet wasteland. they've gone the full fantasy route this time. not to mention no soviet equipment! just a bunch of fictional designs that provide no real world reference!

Saw some stuff on an apparently Russian made post-apocalyptic game called "Metro 2033". It's an FPS thus of no direct interest to me but no doubt a Russian perspective on the matter would be different.

Metro 2033 and it's sequel are both pretty fun. They are weaker than their older brothers, Stalker and Call of Pripyat, but worth a look in terms of visuals, setting and grim, grim story.

Set it to Super Dragon Casual Mode and it's worth a playthrough - after Stalker and CoP.

Well, actually, first metro game is garbage. Shots won't register, voice dub is too different from the original, exploration and CC will bring very little to you and stealth is kind of broken. Last light is the game you want to play when you deal with metro games but stalker games have much more on stake and people try to steal development credits out of them every year.

But! You get stare competitions: D
